How do they live?


Everyday I spend a minimum of 6 hours with the India Railways. Kerala is  state with the highest Percentage of legitimate travelers -paid travelers. However I am alarmed at the what we get for the amount we pay. Shabby seats, general compartments are always crowded, with little space to even stand. Crowd and cleanliness is just one side of the dice. When it comes to time, Indian railways are offering a time machine in the form of trains. One you enter it forget about all you commitments on time. In a way it is good, if you could stay away from the stress of day to day Business. 
Anything that you plan, should have a margin of 45 minutes to couple of hours to days on end sometimes. We really have no choice. I understand our limitations in terms of funds, however for what ever you get a smile wont cost you much. Customer service and satisfaction of least importance and we need to learn and step in to it. There is an immense opportunity for improvement in this sector.The entire system is in such a condition, that we could hardly think about safety or may be that's the last thing they(Railways) are concerned about! In this bustle, we could see a bunch of hawkers(Authorized & Unauthorized), selling Tea, coffee, snacks, meals, Books, socks, toys and what no? Food and beverages, I guess we have a little scope, what about those who sell books, socks and other things which is of least importance to us at this point in time, when we have access to hyper markets and online shops etc. I wonder if this is there whole day profession? Do they earn sufficient income? Where do they get this products and at what margins?

Most often than not, we ignore all these concerns as we are getting used to it. Is there anything that we could do to fix it? Is there a solution? Have we tried to fix these issues by any means? If so what are those tried measures? Why it failed and what is the future action plan ?

I understand that I am just asking questions after questions. In my understanding fixing a few basic needs of our day to day life, could directly help alleviating a few of these issues. Common mans accessibility to basics necessities of life is of prime importance and we have to ensure that it is been taken care of. Access to education and general awareness has to be ensured to everyone. We have to establish an effective feedback system in all government and non-government organizations.  A body should religious analyse the data collected and suggest for modifications in the existing facilities.

Sanathan Dhanram & Indian Constitution misinterpreted - Vellappally Unleashed!!!


Vellappally is now recommending/dictating norm to regulate the reservations system in India. He is recommending a complete restructuring of the reservation system based on the income rather that the community. He even suggested to deny any such privileges to the well-off  people in such communities.  I am just wondering our PM is also passively supporting these views. Its again a case of double standards. A case were the government has given the privilege to the people to give off LPG subsidy rather than forcefully removing subsidies, but for the under privileged community people are dictating an alternate plan. A place where the richest person in the town has the BPL( Below Poverty Line) Ration Card and the a wood cutter has an APL(Above Poverty Line) Ration Card. I am not sure how is this new demand by Vellappally even make some sense. Representing / creating a feel that you are a representative of a larger group of people, does not give you the licence to dictate things around. A man tip to toe immersed in corruptions charges and murder charges but still he has the privilege to stand next to a PM and dictate terms. India is becoming un comprehensive now. People are dying for the establishment/ sustainance of "Sanathana Dharma"; which exists even without any persuasions. This is the contemporary style of copying the west.
